Annual Report 2009
Once more, the time for action had come: This was the seventh time that the cooperation project of Tierhilfe Kos e.V. together with Europäischer Tier- und Naturschutz (ETN) e.V. took place on the island of Kos.

Nine veterinarians and five animal catchers worked together on the Greek island of Kos in the period from the 19th of May until the 27th of May 2008 within the scope of the fifth castration project of animal welfare organization “Tierhilfe-Kos”, this year in cooperation with the European association for the prevention of cruelty to animals and nature conservation. In the process, a total of 60 dogs and 260 cats were castrated and about 100 further animals were medically treated.

In total 700 animals have been castrated since May 2005, 300 were medically treated – in one and a half years!
Report on the castration project, September 2006
The second castration project of Tierhilfe Kos began on 27.September 2006. A team of six persons, consisting of the chairlady of Tierhilfe Kos, Maria Winterleitner.

7.9.2006 And yet, nonetheless a castration campaign is planned for September -
we urgently need medicines!
We have decided on short notice to fly to Kos again in the end of September and to castrate. In order to do this, we still urgently need medicines and financial support.

The first castration campaign of Tierhilfe Kos took place from 24. May until 1. June 2006.
